“ 25-year-old Wes (James McAvoy) was the most disaffected, cube-dwelling drone the planet had ever known. His boss chewed him out hourly, his girlfriend ignored him routinely and his life plodded on interminably. Everyone was certain this disengaged slacker would amount to nothing. Wanted is an action film loosely based on the comic book miniseries Wanted by Mark Millar. The film is directed by a russian director Timur Bekmambetov, and stars James McAvoy, Morgan Freeman, Angelina Jolie, Thomas Kretschmann, and Konstantin Khabensky. Wanted released on June 25, 2008 in the UK and June 27, 2008 in the US.
